After an astounding performance by our representatives that we sent to conference, we were awarded:
  •     1st for the Surveying competition
  •     2nd for the Technical Paper competition
  •     3rd for the Concrete Snowshoes competition
  •     6th for the Steel Bridge competition

ASCE 2004 Regional Conference Concrete Canoe Competition

The 2004 conference was hosted by the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Everybody had a great time, both at the conference and doing other activities.

The guys are confident for their endurance heat.

Slightly less confident... and slightly more tired.

Cracks like these could shake anybody's confidence.

But the women's sprint team got back in and gave it their best.

And so did the guys sprint team.

But sometimes confidence just isn't enough.

The Sherrif Department even got to practice their rescue techniques.

Was there supposed to be a porthole in the side of the canoe?

Oh well. We'll just have to do better next year.
