UAA GPS Base Station Website

UPDATE March 21, 2008

UAAG is currently online and functioning normally except for occasional delays in listing the RINEX files. We are investigating the problem. Broadcast RTK correction is currently online. See the broadcast frequency below.

---------------------------------------

The newest data is supposed to be at the top of the index page, but there have been reports of problems with these pages. Try accessing the data through anonymous FTP here: ftp://www.soe.uaa.alaska.edu/gpsdata .  There are frequent network disruptions at the university that can wreak havoc with our base station and data access. We do apologize for the inconvenience and hope to increase support and reliability. UAAG data may also available on the Accupoint Alaska ICE NET GPS Reference Network site. Data is also being stored locally and the RTK signal, when broadcasting, is at 464.725 MHz.

We run Trimble GPSBase software version 2.20 and have data automatically posting to our website hourly.  The data will be kept online for 90 days. If you need data prior to that, please contact us. Thanks to Accupoint Inc., Trimble, and Mike Gray and Randy Urrea of Accupoint for their assistance in this ongoing service.

We are part of the NGS Cooperative CORS Network. Our coordinate data sheet based on the NGS November 2007 recomputation can be found here. Our NAD_83 (CORS96) ARP position (EPOCH 2003.0), is listed below. Please refer to the coordinate data sheet and site log for additional information.
