Students' comments on the course:

Fall 2005:
- " [The course] solidifies my understanding of Earned Value calculations including improved methods for monitoring project performance i.e. SPI (time)."

- "Great discussions, this is where real learning is done. Good real world examples."

- "I like the subject and its relevance to academics as well as real world application."

- "Comprehensive introduction to Earned Value Management. Relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing and debating ideas."

- "As this was a communications class, I really enjoyed the emphasis on discussion. The majority of the information I learned that I feel is most valuable was learned through active and open discussions with the professor and classmates. That was definitely the best part. Also, questions were thoroughly answered and discussed, which was extremely helpful as sometimes instructors don’t take the time to provide a thorough answer and make sure the student understands. "

- "I enjoyed the classroom setting and the focus on practical tools and knowledge rather than long lectures and memorization."
