This course will address the challenges that IT Project Managers face and the uniqueness of IT projects.  Students will learn how to identify and mitigate the most common contributing factors to IT project failure.  The course will focus on how to create effective plans and address scope, schedule and budget issues that are specific to IT. The course will also cover how the addition of additional resources can actually lead to quality issues and schedule and cost over-runs.
