is looking for capable entry level engineers

Qualifications:

All applicants must be Seniors (i.e. will graduate by December 2008) in Civil Engineering at UAA and be officially enrolled in CE 438 - Design of Civil Engineering Systems

Open Positions:

There are immediate openings for entry level engineers to work in the areas of:

• General Civil Engineering / Surveying 
• Structural Engineering 
• Geotechnical & Foundation Engineering
• Environmental, Safety, Permitting Engineering
• Cost Estimating & Specification writing.

Application Procedure:

All students enrolled in the course are required to submit one (1) pdf version via email and two (2) hard copies of the following to Dr. Quimby's office mailbox no later than 12:00 noon Wednesday 1/23/08 of the following:

• A cover letter stating their interest in the project.  The letter MUST include the applicant's:
  • three most desired positions and
  • a statement regarding the applicant's willingness to be assigned as a team leader with administrative responsibility over one of the subgroups. 
• A one page resume. The resume and/or cover letter must have a current e-mail address for the applicant. The resume must conform to acceptable resume format and include all pertinent information.

NOTE:  All submitted letters and resumes will be put together in a resume book for review by the class.
